For my birthday last May, Mr. Right gave me this pattern, fabric and fancy floss. I am still plugging away. I do enjoy the process. Each motif really gives me the satisfaction of completing a small portion.
It is called Coffee Quaker by Heartstring Samplery.
I am stitching on 32 count Lugana Fabric in Light Taupe.
This is the first time I have ever used this new gadget called the “Star De-Tailor”. You use it on the back of your project to grab small tails of thread to weave under. Such a wonderful, inexpensive invention.
Yes, I am extremely careful while drinking coffee or hot cocoa around this or any of my counted cross stitch projects.
How on earth could I stitch this without drinking coffee?
